Ethical principles that govern scientific publishing operations at the Center to ensure integrity and transparency.
Publication ethics
1. The Arab Center shall adopt rules of confidentiality and objectivity in the arbitration process for the researcher and the readers (arbitrators) alike, and shall refer each arbitrable research to accredited readers with experience and strict competence in the subject matter of the research, to evaluate it according to specific points. In the event that the evaluation conflicts between readers, the Center refers the research to a third likely reader.
2. The Arab Center shall adopt reliable, tried and experienced readers who are new in their specialization.
3. The Arab Center shall adopt a strict internal organization that is clear in duties and responsibilities in the work of the editorial staff and their job ranks.
4. Editors and readers, with the exception of those directly responsible for the editorial process (the Editor-in-Chief or his designee), may not discuss the paper with anyone else, including the author. Any privileged information or opinion obtained through the reading should be kept confidential, and neither may be used for personal benefit.
5. In the light of readers' reports, the Arab Center provides technical, methodological and information support to researchers as necessary and serves to improve the research.
6. The Arab Center is obligated to inform the researcher of the approval to publish the research without modification or according to certain modifications, based on what is stated in the reading reports, or the apology for not publishing, with a statement of the reasons for the apology.
7. The Arab Center is committed to the quality of the audit, editorial, printing and electronic services it provides for research.
8. Respect for the rule of non-discrimination: Editors and reviewers evaluate research material according to its intellectual content, taking into account the principle of non-discrimination on the basis of race, social gender, religious belief, the writer's political philosophy, or any other form of discrimination, except for adherence to the rules, methods, and language of scientific thinking in presenting, presenting, discussing, or analyzing ideas, trends, and topics.
9. Respect the rule of non-conflict of interest between the editors and the researcher, whether as a result of a competitive or cooperative relationship or other relationships or links with any author, companies, or institutions related to the research.
10. The Arab Center is committed to the inadmissibility of using any of the members of the editorial board or editors of the unpublished materials contained in the research referred to the journal in their own research.
11. Intellectual Property Rights: The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies owns the intellectual property rights for the articles published in its refereed scientific journals and on its website, and they may not be re-published in part or in whole, whether in Arabic or translated into foreign languages, without the express written permission of the Arab Center.
12. In publishing translated articles, the Arab Center is fully committed to obtaining the permission of the published foreign periodical, and to respecting intellectual property rights.
13. Free: The Arab Center is committed to free publishing, and exempts researchers and authors from all publishing fees.
