Publication guidelines
Guidelines and criteria for accepting scientific contributions to the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies.
General Conditions of Publication
The Arab Center receives requests for research participation in its conferences, and publishes completed research and studies in accordance with the writing and publishing standards specified in the body of this document:
1. The research must be original and specially prepared for the Arab Center, and must not have been published in part or in full or published in any electronic or paper publishing means, or presented at a scientific conference, or to any other party.
2. The research must be attached to the researcher's CV.

4. The research should adhere to the documentation specifications according to the reference system adopted by the Arab Center (Annex below).
5. If there are charts, shapes, equations, graphs or tables, they should be sent the way they originally worked according to Excel or Word, and they should be attached in good quality as original images in a separate file as well.
6. Scientific Arbitration: All sent materials are subject to evaluation and academic reading. Suggested notes are sent to the writer to modify the research or the draft of the book. If approved, the writer shall make the proposed amendments before handing over the material for final editing.
7. Number of research words and studies: The number of research words, including references in references, explanatory margins, list of references and appendices, if any, ranges between 6,000 and 8,000 words. Exceptionally, some researches and studies exceeding or less than this number of words may be approved by the research department or the editorial board.
8. Language of research and studies: Research shall be sent in Arabic, and may be sent in English, and shall be translated in this case after approval.
9. Books and theses: The Center receives drafts of books and edited doctoral theses prepared for publication. It is subject to evaluation and academic reading by a competent scientific committee. If approved for publication, the proposed notes shall be sent to the writer to make the proposed amendments before handing over the material for final editing. 10. Book Presentation and Review: The book presentation and/or review includes the following essential elements:
o Introducing the title of the book and highlighting its importance.
o Introducing the author of the book and his scientific biography (as needed).
o Stand at the book's introductions, objectives, project, references, sources, plan, and contents.
o Determining what is new in its subject or what is new in addressing what has been issued in its field.
o Completely analyzing the contents of the book, highlighting its main ideas and themes, while using critical tools and the comparative approach between it and the references that dealt with the field or topic itself.

12. The Arab Center is committed to an ethical charter that includes respect for privacy, confidentiality, objectivity, scientific honesty and non-disclosure by editors, reviewers and members of the editorial board of any information regarding the research and studies referred to it.
13. The Arab Center does not pay financial rewards for materials from research, studies and articles it publishes; or those participating in its conferences, as is the case in international scientific journals.
